To earn the Year of Service Award in 2010, Scouts will work with their unit leaders to choose appropriate service opportunities throughout the year. Each Scout will receive the Year of Service patch and their unit leader will award them the appropriate rocker as each month?s service project is completed. Click for more information.

Annually, the Chicago Area Council recognizes the contributions of volunteer Scouters with the Silver Beaver Award, the Boy Scouts of Americas highest honor for service in a local council.
