MARK YOUR CALENDAR and get your gear ready for the April 19 thru 21, North Side Spring Camporall for all Cub and Boy Scouts and their families. Our “demolition” theme promises to be both fun and educational. You will be up close to the demolition action when you see a head-on collision between hollow watermelons! Then, send your old pinewood derby car -- modify it or build a new one -- down our track on a collision course with other cars to see which is the last car rolling. We will have a standard 5 ounce weight class and a heavyweight class in which you can DOUBLE the normal pinewood weight to 10 ounces on a car that you build for this event. We will be running an adult-only pinewood demo competition for parents and leaders. Put your best, most mischievous ideas into pine form, decorate it and let it roll for BIG DEMOLITION ACTION!
