$ 2.00 per pre-registered person (scout, sibling or adult) gets the participant a terrific hanging patch (no sewing), a snack pack and some great hot chocolate. Walk-ins are permitted, however, the patch, snacks and hot chocolate are available only to preregistered participants.

Participants register by unit

To register, a unit must have their registration form and fee at the Chicago Area Council by the close of the day on Friday, Feb. 22.

Skate rentals are available through the Chicago Park District for $6.00.

Skating Merit Badge Counselors will be available for scouts interested in pursuing the Skating Merit Badge, however, pre-registration for the merit badge AND a blue card signed by the scoutmaster are necessary to begin this merit badge. See registration form.

The Cub Scout Skating Challenge is open to all Cub Scouts. Try our slide n glide, slap shot,  and ‘stop that’ events as part of the competition. We will have a winner for Tigers, Wolves, Bears and Webelos scouts. Competition starts at 3:00 p.m.
